Small wooden Cherry salad bowl. The wood comes from a tree in upstate New York, which was damage in a storm. Cherry wood will only get richer and darker in color over time. It is finished with orange oil, waxed and buffed.
All our items are one of a kind and made entirely of salvage or down trees. None are exactly the same; any slight imperfections are the affect of handmade quality.
To keep this bowl in good condition, wipe down with a damp cloth with a small amount of soap and warm water, wipe dry with a kitchen towel. When this bowl start to look dull or dried out wipe down with a small amount of mineral or walnut oil found in your supermarket, let set a few minutes and wipe off any excess oil. This will restore the warm polished look and keep the wood in good condition. Never put in a dishwasher or a microwave.
